What are you working on right now?

Our current focus is to create an accessible playground at Schroon Lake Central School. With grant money awarded from Stewart's Shops, we recently purchased an accessible tandem swing that allows students with and without disabilities to swing together. That should be arriving by November 2023. It is our hope that we can fundraise and be awarded enough grant money for the remainder of the playground by September 2026. 

What's next?

Locally, we've noticed that many of our local businesses do not have accessible entrances for people with disabilities. We're hoping to install ramps and ADA door openers on those businesses. We would also like to have communication boards installed at our local parks and playgrounds.
