About AIM

Adirondack Inclusion Movement, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization focused on creating accessible community spaces in the Adirondacks. AIM is located in Schroon Lake, NY. AIM is organized exclusively to support the development, renovation, or addition of facilities, entities, and scholarships that promote and encourage inclusivity for people with disabilities in all aspects of everyday life.

Although the playground is our foundational project, AIM has other goals for our community, as well. In the future we see our organization funding for and building accessible playgrounds, installing accessible pathways, entrances, and facilities, and supporting local businesses to create accessible entries and accessible workspaces so that people with disabilities can work, shop, and dine in our community. We also hope to establish a scholarship fund for people with disabilities.

AIM has a board of seven members volunteering to see this mission through, and we thank you for any support.
